I basically put this page on here to make sure everyone knows about the horrible things that happen to animals every day! fur coats/dissection/animal testing...Madonna is a perfect example of animal cruelty..her coat caused 50 minks to be killed.
Dissection is becoming an okay thing to refuse these days, thanks to new laws. Are you going to reject dissection? I know I am when I get into biology next year! and guess what? they can't suspend you or lower your grade; it's a law!
Animal testing, I think, is one of the most horrible things in the whole world. I encourage you to write to companies and ask them to stop their animal testing, or do protests (non-violent of course) Animals in laboratories are forced to eat, enhale, and be injected with chemicals. The FDA requires these tests to be taken, but it is not a requirement to test on animals! I think that this is incredibly disgusting, and I also encourage you to buy products only from companies that don't test products on animals! I'm planning on starting to do that right now! a list of companies is below:
